As Christians we are called to give to others what has been given to us. God has given each of us specific abilities and talents and we are challenged to use these gifts to glorify him. At JMC students will develop their giftings and learn effective way’s of sharing the gospel and discipling others. Our goal is to provide students with a wide range of ministry opportunities to help them find the path for the journey God has called them to.
“Therefore go into all the world and preach the gospel to every living creature” is the great Commission that Jesus gave to all who would follow Him. JMC students will be deeply involved in a wide range of outreaches and ministries from local Junior and Senior High School Bible clubs to prison ministry, Easter and Christmas productions, and community service projects. As students are trained in the Word and in Service, they will be empowered to fulfill their call.
Worship is one of the key elements that draws people into the presence of God. At JMC, we believe this encounter with God is a vital part of the students growth and development. We not only want JMC students to grow in their worship of God, but be trained to lead others into a deeper intimacy with God through worship.
The focus of our academic study is the relevant application of biblical truth to the student’s everyday life. JMC places great importance on establishing a solid foundation in God’s word through Global University coursework and scripture memorization. This gives JMC students an academic edge and helps them develop a solid work ethic that will be critical to their future success in college, ministry, or career.
Each week students are encouraged and challenged by different church leaders on the practical challenges and issues of ministry. In addition, students are assigned an afternoon ministry or outreach to put these lessons to the test in real life situations.
